Bambi's rescue, Rinky Karmakar
Rinky Karmakar knows a thing or two about stray dogs, and stray dog rescue. She’s been at it for years. In Andheri where she lives right across from AWS’s Kapaswadi ABC facility Rinky, and the people around, there know the apathetic conditions of the dogs. AWS has no regard for the AWBI SOP, BBMP or in the least the strays dogs. AndRead More

The problem always has been the opacity of the process of monitoring which is seen as the elitist preserve of bureaucrats, government officials and AWO’s running ABC programs etc. This changed through the amendment of the ABC rules, essentially allowing individuals and organizations engaged in animal welfare to participate and make it more effective. Steps you should take immediately in your city: Since the Municipal CommissionerRead More
